Our Story
Ancestry Brewing is built on the idea that the best things in life take time—strong roots, hard work, and people coming together.
Aaron and Erika Wilcott are fifth-generation Oregon farmers, raising their three boys on their family farm in the Willamette Valley. On their farm, they grow filberts, pumpkins, berries, and nursery stock, continuing a tradition that has been passed down for generations. Born and raised in the Tualatin and Sherwood area, they are proud to invest in the same community that shaped them.
When they took over Ancestry Brewing, they saw more than just a business. They saw an opportunity to create a place where people could gather—families, friends, teammates, and neighbors—and feel at home. A place where kids can play, conversations last a little longer, and good beer brings people together.
None of this would be possible without the incredible team behind it. We’re grateful for the hardworking staff who show up every day with pride in what they do, helping create the beer, food, and experience that make this place special.
The goal is simple: make great beer and create a space where people want to spend time. No pretense, no pressure—just a welcoming environment, a strong sense of community, and a deep respect for the roots that got us here.
Because to us, “Ancestry” isn’t just about where you come from.
It’s about what you build, who you share it with, and the memories you create along the way.
